Comrade Idowu Afuye, A Misunderstood Patriot Walking On The Threshold Of History.
Comrade ldowu Afuye is an household name in Ekiti politics today, to some he is a controversial personality, but the fact remains his principle and ways seems to always be on conviction, to satisfy human beings on the basis of satisfying them truly is disregard for the truth and a clear indication of living an unfulfilled life.
Born lnto the Ojoko family in Ode Ekiti some decades ago, he attended St. Mary Primary School Ode Ekiti for his elementary education, he later proceeded to Ode Ekiti High School, for his secondary education, from, where he later got a diploma in business administration from the University of Ado Ekiti, after which he bagged a B.S.C in political science from same institution.
Comrade Afuye started his working career at the Ekiti State house of assembly in 2008, and voluntarily retired in 2022.
His reasons zeal to serve humanity beyond been a civil servant.
Comrade ldowu Afuye is an activist who felt being in the civil service will encamp him, immediately after his voluntary retirement he formed the Ekiti South Development Agenda, a group meant to correct the political ln balance meted out to the people of Ekiti South, Afuye’s efforts then shook ground, but was truncated by the inability of politicians from Ekiti South to reach a consensus and present a candidate.
After the Collapse of the Agenda Comrade ldowu Afuye moved on and became the deputy governorship candidate of the A.D.P, ln A.D.P. Comrade Afuye added value to the development of the party, until he discovered the Omoluabi tendencies in the then candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC now Gov of Ekiti State Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji BAO, he dumped the A.D.P and joined the All Progressive Congress APC.
Change remains the only constant thing in life, Comrade ldowu Afuye dynamic style of life has made him a misunderstood person by many , but the fact remains satisfying human being against humanity and posterity is making bad history.
Comrade ldowu Afuye has been a voice for the voiceless, an humanitarian who has done his best in contributing positively to humanity, Afuye is dogged.
Presently he is the C.E.O of l.S.A Political Information Communication Consultancy Firm, and the Coordinator of Ekiti South Youth Vanguard for BAO.
He remains happily married with kids
