Community in Panic as Mortician Seen Carrying Human Leg on the Streets

A mortician in Agwabi, Bukuru LGA of Benue State was taken into custody after he was seen using a human leg as a walking stick in public, even stopping by a nearby shop to buy groceries.

The shocking sight caused panic, as people began shouting and gathering around until some youths intervened, apprehended him, and handed him over to the police.

He later explained that his actions were meant to draw attention to the number of unclaimed corpses in his mortuary.

However, the incident deeply unsettled many residents. He further stated that several bodies had been abandoned there, including those of 13 suspected criminals reportedly k!lled by authorities, whose remains were never collected.
