Bandits Kill Local Government Personnel Director, Abduct Wife, Teacher In Night Raid
During the attack, Alhaji Muhammed was reportedly shot dead by the gunmen, according to conflict reporter Bakatsine.
Armed bandits have killed the Director of Personnel Management (DPM) of Ngaski Local Government Area, Alhaji Nasiru Muhammed, during a deadly attack on his residence in the Low Cost area of Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
It was gathered that the attack occurred on Thursday night when heavily armed assailants invaded the community, before targeting the residence of the senior local government official.

During the attack, Alhaji Muhammed was reportedly shot dead by the gunmen, according to conflict reporter Bakatsine.
The assailants also abducted his wife and another resident of the neighbourhood, identified as Maryam, a teacher.
Their whereabouts remain unknown as of the time of filing this report, with no contact reportedly established with the kidnappers.
The incident has thrown the community into mourning and heightened fears among residents over the worsening security situation in parts of Kebbi State.
On Friday, Bakatsine disclosed that the Director of Personnel Management was killed during the attack, while his wife and the female teacher were taken away by the bandits.
“Bandits attacked the home of Alhaji Nasiru Muhammed, the Director of Personnel Management (DPM) of Ngaski Local Government Area, in the Low Cost area of Yauri LGA, Kebbi State. The attackers also abducted his wife and another resident from the neighbourhood, Maryam, a teacher,” the security alert stated.
Residents of the affected community have been left devastated by the attack, with many expressing fears over the increasing frequency of bandit invasions targeting homes and communities.
