APC Disqualifies Tammy Danagogo, Ojukaye Amachree, Ipalibo Banigo, Tein Jack-Rich; Clears Wike Loyalist Felix Obuah and Allwell Onyesoh

In a major development ahead of tomorrow’s All Progressives Congress (APC) Senate primaries in Rivers State, the party’s screening committee has disqualified several high-profile aspirants while clearing others to contest.

The disqualified aspirants include:
* Dr. Tammy Danagogo
* Ojukaye Flag Amachree
* Senator Ipalibo Harry Banigo
* Tein Jack-Rich (also referred to as Tein Jackrich)
Conversely, the committee has cleared prominent figures such as:

* Bro. Felix Obuah
* Senator Allwell Onyesoh (also known as Hon. Alwell Oyesoh)
and several others to participate in the primaries scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2026.

This screening outcome is expected to significantly reshape the contest for the three Senatorial Districts in Rivers State (East, West, and South-East) as the party positions itself for the 2027 general elections.

The disqualifications come amid intense political realignments in Rivers State following recent defections from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC. Senator Ipalibo Banigo (Rivers West) and Senator Allwell Onyesoh (Rivers East) were among notable figures who recently joined the APC.

Bro. Felix Obuah, a former PDP stalwart and influential politician in Rivers West, recently purchased his nomination form and has now been cleared to contest for the Senate seat.

Ojukaye Amachree, a key APC figure in the state, was among those disqualified despite his prominent role in the party structure.
