Angry Mob Sets BRT Bus Ablaze After It Crushes A Bike Man To Death In Ikorodu, Lagos.
An angry mob set a Lagos BRT bus abl@ze at the Ogolonto bus stop in Ikorodu, Lagos, on October 16, 2026. The v!0lent retaliation erupted immediately after the high-capacity transit bus crushed a commercial motorcyclist (okada rider) to d£@th along the restricted BRT lane.
The motorcyclist was riding alone when the collision occurred within the dedicated BRT corridor. Enraged by the rider’s immediate dE@th, bystanders and local hoodlums swarmed the vehicle, setting it on f!r£ and @ss@ulting the driver.
Officers from the Nigeria Police Force and the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) arrived promptly at the scene to calm the situation and they managed to rescue the BRT driver from the mob before he sustained fatal injuries.
