Amotekun Operatives Rescue Two Kidnapped Fulani Herders
Operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Ondo State have successfully rescued two young Fulani herders who were abducted in a forest area along the Ondo–Edo State boundary.
The victims were reportedly kidnapped while grazing their cattle in the Owo forest. Concern arose when the children failed to return home, prompting their parents to raise an alarm and seek the intervention of the Amotekun Corps.
In response, Amotekun operatives, working in collaboration with the victims’ parents, launched a search-and-rescue operation that led to the discovery of the abductors’ camp deep within the forest.
According to the Ondo State Commander of Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye, the kidnappers fled the scene upon realizing that their hideout had been uncovered, leaving the victims behind unharmed.
