AMG Accuses GMT of In-House Sabotage, Insists Ondo APC Remains United

APC MANDATE GROUP (AMG) REJECTS GMT’S BASELESS ALLEGATIONS OF FRACTURE IN ONDO APC, DESCRIBES IT AS A MALICIOUS CAMPAIGN OF CALUMNY AND IN-HOUSE SABOTAGE

The APC Mandate Group (AMG), a formidable grassroots structure fully mobilized in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, has received with utter dismay and disappointment the recent statement issued by the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) through its Director of Media, Mr. Ojo Oyewamide.

We view GMT’s statement as a *pure campaign of calumny* deliberately designed to create an impression of fracture, decline, and disharmony within the APC in Ondo State. This is not only mischievous but also counterproductive to the collective efforts of genuine party loyalists working tirelessly to consolidate the Renewed Hope Agenda in the state.

It is instructive to note that even political parties with rainbow colours and fragmented platforms across the country do not engage in such self-damaging public spectacles by amplifying perceived internal weaknesses. Yet, a group claiming to be for Tinubu has chosen to weaponize a legitimate electoral victory to sow seeds of discord. We express our **great disappointment** in GMT’s attempt to undermine the unity and strength of the APC in Ondo State.

The facts on ground tell a different story. The recent Ondo South Senatorial District by-election was conducted in a *less competitive environment* with zero or no vote buying. Despite this, the APC delivered a resounding victory with 68,474 votes. This performance, achieved through genuine voter conviction rather than inducement, clearly demonstrates that the party is stronger, more organized, and better positioned than ever to *actualize and even surpass the one million votes target* for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR in the 2027 general elections.

Our on-field assessment and massive grassroots canvassing across Ondo State confirm that the popularity of our great party, the APC, and our leader, *Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu*, remains exceptionally high. From all indications, the APC is poised to deliver *not less than 95% of the total votes* to be cast in Ondo State in 2027. This is not wishful thinking but a realistic projection based on current mobilization efforts, public acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda, and the visible performance of the APC-led government at both federal and state levels.

We therefore charge GMT and similar groups to immediately *desist from in-house sabotage* and instead concentrate their efforts on the real task at hand: bringing in more members, expanding the party’s base, and intensifying canvassing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. Internal cohesion is best strengthened through constructive engagement and collective mobilization, not through alarmist statements that play into the hands of the opposition.

The APC in Ondo State under the leadership of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa remains united, focused, and committed to delivering good governance. We commend the governor for his developmental strides and urge all well-meaning stakeholders to support ongoing infrastructure projects while working towards greater achievements.

The APC Mandate Group reaffirms its unwavering loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and the leadership of the APC in Ondo State. We are more than ready for 2027 and shall continue to mobilize massively for a landslide victory that will further entrench the Renewed Hope Agenda.
