Adewinle Hails Inauguration of Ondo APC Presidential Campaign Council, Commends Aiyedatiwa
Dr Jude Martins Adewinle, the Commissioner representing Ondo State at the South West Development Commission (SWDC), has commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for inaugurating the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Election Campaign Council, directorates and sub-committees in Ondo State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Adewinle described the inauguration as an important step towards strengthening party coordination, promoting unity among members and establishing an organised campaign structure ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The inauguration, led by Governor Aiyedatiwa, is aimed at mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Commending the governor’s initiative, Adewinle acknowledged the importance of strategic planning, effective leadership and grassroots mobilisation in preparing the party for the electoral exercise.
He noted that the establishment of the campaign council and its various directorates and sub-committees would provide a framework for coordinating party activities and engaging stakeholders across the state.
Adewinle also stressed the need for party members, leaders and supporters to work together towards achieving their shared political objectives, urging them to prioritise unity, cooperation and commitment to the party’s activities.
He further noted that sustained engagement with grassroots supporters and stakeholders across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State would be important to the campaign’s outreach efforts.
The SWDC commissioner commended Aiyedatiwa for providing leadership in organising the party’s campaign structure, expressing confidence that cooperation among party stakeholders would be essential to the effective implementation of its campaign plans.
The inauguration marks a step in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 general elections, with the campaign council expected to coordinate activities and communicate the party’s message across Ondo State.
