Abducted Kwara Monarch Regains Freedom After 25 Days in Bandits’ Den

Relief has swept through Bayagan Ile community in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State following the release of the Ojibara of Bayagan Ile, Alhaji Kamilu Salami, who was abducted by armed bandits 25 days ago.
The traditional ruler was reportedly kidnapped while traveling within the state, an incident that sparked widespread concern among residents, traditional institutions, and stakeholders across Kwara and neighboring communities. His abduction had heightened fears over the growing insecurity affecting rural and semi-urban areas in the region.
