“She Can Say It To Your Face”- Foluke Daramola Defends Toyin Abraham Amid Leaked Audio Controversy

A 12-minute leaked audio recording of actress Abraham has surfaced online.
In the recording, Abraham expresses frustration over constant insults and criticisms she faces.
She discusses her relationships with colleagues in the audio.

Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola has come to the defence of her colleague, Toyin Abraham, following the controversy surrounding a leaked audio recording of the actress.

The 12-minute recording, which has been making the rounds on social media, reportedly captured Abraham expressing her frustration over the constant insults and criticism she receives from the public. She also spoke about her relationships with some of her colleagues.

The audio, which was largely in Yoruba and Pidgin English, also featured one of Abraham’s fans insulting fellow actress Funke Akindele while Abraham listened and laughed without reprimanding her.

Reacting to the development, Foluke Daramola took to social media to express her support for Abraham, insisting that the actress is someone who can speak her mind directly rather than talk about people behind their backs.

Foluke also praised Abraham’s personality, describing her as someone with a wonderful spirit. She recalled how excited her daughter became after learning that she was spending time with the actress.

In her words:

“Oluwatoyin. Is there anything that she can say behind your back and she won’t say in front of you? I doubt that, sha. But one thing I will say about her is the wonderful spirit she has, even with these Gen Z. The last time I called my daughter, she didn’t pick up. I told her I was with Toyin; she called back sharp sharp. I don’t know how you do it, but you have a wonderful spirit, and I bless God for your life”.

Following her post in support of Abraham, Foluke revealed that some social media users had attacked her and called her different names because of her stance.

The actress said she had reluctantly accepted the label “Alabosi” given to her by critics, while questioning why there was so much hatred and bitterness among people.

She also expressed frustration over the situation, warning that she would no longer remain silent if anyone crossed the line.

Foluke wrote:

“I posted something about my dearest Toyin Abraham and sons; people have been calling me all sorts of names that I’ve accepted without pleasure, Alabosi. Why is there so much hate? Bitterness thrives everywhere. Have been quiet for so long now; if anybody tries nonsense, I will get the person arrested and curse them”.
