“Follow this rich man” – Mother pressures daughter to marry her boss after 5 years with struggl!ng boyfriend

A Nigerian lady has reportedly been caught in a dilemma between her boyfriend of five years and her wealthy boss, who has offered to marry her and improve her family’s living situation.

The story was shared on X by a user identified as @TeeMento, who narrated that the 27-year-old woman had been dating her boyfriend since her National Diploma (ND) days.

The boyfriend is described as a loving partner who neither cheats on her nor beats her. However, he is still financially struggling and makes a living by running a Point of Sale (POS) shop in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, and also charging phones.

The situation reportedly got complicated after her 42-year-old d!vorc£d boss, who has two children, showed interest in marrying her and promised to offer financial support.

In the post, @TeeMento explained that the lady’s boyfriend had been planning to settle down with her in December despite his financial difficulties.

However, the relationship has reportedly come under strain because the man is yet to attain the financial stability his girlfriend wants.

The X user noted that the boyfriend has kept assuring her that things will get better, but she is tired of waiting.

The post read that the boyfriend keeps telling her, “babe next year go better,” but he has been saying the same thing for three years.

The situation reportedly took a new turn when the woman’s boss offered to marry her and promised to better her financial situation.

The 42-year-old man, who is d!vorc£d with two children, allegedly promised to open a supermarket for her, buy her a small car, and move her and her mother out of their one-room apartment in Sango Ota.

The offer reportedly appealed to the lady’s mother, who has also been pressuring her to consider the wealthy man’s proposal.

The woman’s mother has reportedly grown tired of their financial hardship and wants her to accept.

“My daughter, I don tire for suff£r, follow this rich man,” the mother reportedly told daughter.
