Police arrest woman for ‘using sex toys’ on minor, rescue for kids
The Anambra police command has arrested Anulika Onyeanusia, a 36-year-old woman, following a viral video that appeared to show her “using a sex toy”on a minor.

On Thursday, Onyeanusia allegedly used a minor to create explicit adult content for financial gain during a TikTok livestream. The video later went viral, sparking outrage, with several users calling on the authorities to intervene.

In a statement by issued on Thursday by Tochukwu Ikenga, the police public relations officer (PPRO), the command confirmed that the arrest was prompted by widespread public outcry.

The police said her arrest also led to the rescue of four children, aged 2, 3, 6 and 9 years, respectively, as well as the recovery of sex toys and other items relevant to the investigation.

Onyeanusia is currently in police custody as investigations into the “circumstances of the offence” and the involvement of others continue, while her husband is being questioned over his possible involvement.

Nnanna Oji Ama, the police commissioner in Anambra, condemned the act as “deeply disturbing and unacceptable” particularly because it involved the exploitation and abuse of children.

“The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, who is deeply disturbed by the alleged act, described it as unacceptable, particularly because it involves the exploitation and abuse of children who are incapable of protecting themselves,” the statement reads in part.

“He has therefore directed a thorough and professional investigation while ensuring that the rescued children receive appropriate care and protection.”

The command said its priority is the safety and wellbeing of the rescued children, assuring that they will receive the necessary care, protection and support while their identities remain protected.
