Tonto Dikeh Exposes Person Allegedly Defrauding People Using Obasa’s Name

Actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has raised the alarm over a person allegedly using the name and image of Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

Dikeh shared the phone number of the alleged impersonator on her Instagram page, warning people to be cautious of messages or calls from the number.

According to her, the individual contacted her and requested her personal details. A screenshot she shared also showed that she had a three-minute phone conversation with the person before apparently realising that the account was fraudulent.

In her warning, Dikeh wrote:

“Beware of this no. Claiming to be anyone important and wld request for your details…”

She urged members of the public to remain vigilant and avoid sharing personal information with individuals claiming to represent prominent personalities without proper verification.
