David Umahi Exonerated As Family Confirms Mary Habila Died of Cardiac Arrest Linked To Heart Condition

The family of Mary Habila has confirmed that she died following a cardiac arrest, after living for years with a congenital heart condition.
According to the family, Mary was diagnosed with a hole in her heart. Though she faced significant health challenges, she carried herself with courage, faith, and quiet resilience.
“She remained hopeful and continued to touch the lives of those around her with her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit,” the family said in a statement.
Mary was raised in Deeper Life Bible Church, where her father serves as a pastor. She was an active member of the Deeper Life Children’s Church in her childhood and later joined the youth church during her teenage years. She also sang in the children’s choir until she left home.
While living in Abuja, and due to the distance to the nearest Deeper Life Bible Church, she attended Christ Embassy and other Pentecostal churches close to her residence until her passing.

Mary began her primary school education in Kaduna town. After her parents relocated back home, she was transferred to LGEA Primary School.
Despite receiving medical care, along with prayers and support from family and loved ones, her condition became critical. She sadly passed away, leaving a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her.
“Though her life was cut short, Mary will always be remembered for her strength in the face of adversity, the love she shared, and the lasting impact she made on everyone blessed to know her. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” the family added.
Autopsy
According to information received from a source, an autopsy has been conducted and the results are with the police.
