Presidency warns Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso over move to PRP, reveals possible consequences
Amid speculation that the members of the coalition party– African Democratic Congress (ADC) are planning on switching to another political party due to lingering litigation over its national leadership and its de-recognition by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the presidency has counseled the leadership of the ADC to thread cautiously in their move to another political party.
Daniel Bwala, special assistant to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu on policy communication, through his X handle advised the coalition party to ensure they follow due process in their rumoured switch to the People’s Redemption Party (PRP).
According to him, the leaders of the coalition should know that the consequences of botched process in taking over a political party’s leadership amounts to disintegration.
After failed privatized ADC, I am hearing they are planning to go and privatize PRP and run on that platform. Privatization without due process equals disintegration”, he stated
The leadership of ADC are reportedly considering another political platform while they await the decision of the supreme court on their party leadership crisis.
