Fellers from the just concluded APC National Convention as it concerns Zamfara state delegates and their secret wishes have been laid to bear as journalists over heard some Zamfara state delegates recounting their displeasure over the forceful choice of current Governor Dauda Lawal on them.
The discussion which took over 20minutes had Zamfara state APC delegates noting that the choice of Bello Matawalle would have given the party a better guber candidate.
In another twist, the name of a young Zamfara state born business guru and Philanthropist, Sanusi Bala Turaki surfaced incourse of the discussion.
The discussants in their various submissions stated that Bala Turaki stands out as a young purposeful Zamfaran who has the capacity to meet the yearnings and aspirations of Zamfara state and her people if given the opportunity to govern the state.
One of the delegates noted that Bala Turaki has remained consistent in his quest to bringing peace to Zamfara state and ensuring that human capital development, especially for the teeming youths of the state is brought to bear.
They all agreed that as a private person, Bala Turaki has spent Millions in the past years on Youth and women empowerment programs, skill acquisition programs and educational empowerment across the 14 local government areas of the state.
Our correspondent on an inquisitive note tried interviewing one of the delegates to speak on the chances of Dauda Lawal to be elected for a second term, but unfortunately, the delegates kept mute, refusing to speak to the camera.
