Tragedy Hits Kogi Poly as Former SUG Presidential Aspirant, Emmanuel, Dies Suddenly
The Kogi State Polytechnic community has been thrown into deep mourning following the sudden and heartbreaking death of Emmanuel, a former student and one-time aspirant for the position of Students’ Union Government (SUG) President.
According to reports, Emmanuel passed away unexpectedly, leaving friends, colleagues, and lecturers in shock. His death has sparked an outpouring of grief across the Lokoja campus and on social media, where many have described him as “a vibrant, visionary, and humble young man with a passion for student leadership.”
Fellow students recalled how Emmanuel was deeply involved in campus politics and student welfare during his time at the institution. He was known for his charisma, leadership qualities, and commitment to the betterment of his fellow students.
“Emmanuel was more than just a leader; he was a friend and a brother to many of us. His death is a huge loss to the Kogi Poly family,” one of his former classmates said with tears.
