“I Am Too Big To Dump ADC In Secrete” – EX-Gov Dismisses APC Defection Rumors, Reaffirms Loyalty to ADC

Former Governor of Benue State, Senator Gabriel Suswam, has put to rest speculation about a secret defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that his political stature and loyalty prevent him from abandoning the African Democratic Congress (ADC) quietly.

During a visit to the residence of Prof. Saasongo Nongu in Makurdi, Suswam emphasized that leaving the party without the consent of his supporters would be both disgraceful and a betrayal.

“I am too big to dump the ADC in secret. Leaving quietly would dishonor my personality and those who have stood by me,” he said.

Suswam reaffirmed his dedication to strengthening the ADC and expanding its influence across Benue State. The visit attracted a large gathering of ADC members, including Hon. Benjamin Mzondu and several former PDP officials.

He also urged party members to support Mzondu, describing him as a visionary leader capable of upholding the party’s values. Mzondu, in turn, expressed gratitude for Suswam’s mentorship and pledged continued loyalty to both him and the ADC.
