SUSPECTED SHOP BURGLAR REPORTEDLY SHOT TO DEATH IN IKERE EKITI.

An individual suspected of burglary was allegedly shot to death by an unidentified person while trying to force entry into a shop on Ayetoro Street in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Upon seeing the lifeless body of the individual, the alarming occurrence led residents in the community to promptly notify the police, who subsequently arrived to remove the suspect’s body which was later deposited at the morgue.

The occurrence has generated varied reactions within the community, with residents expressing uncertainty about the identity of the person who shot the suspected burglar during the attempted robbery.

While the public continues to pray for divine revelation of wrongdoers, strong recommendations have been issued urging people to refrain from taking law into their own hands.
