In a resounding endorsement of democratic values and judicial integrity, Rt. Hon. Fatai Aburumaku Olotu, a respected political statesman and former Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa on his decisive victory at the Supreme Court.
The landmark judgement, delivered on Wednesday by a five-member panel led by Justice John Okoro, unequivocally affirmed Governor Ayedatiwa’s electoral mandate, following the withdrawal of all appeals against his election.

Rt. Hon. Fatai Aburumaku Olotu Congratulates Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa on Supreme Court Victory
A former Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly and former cabinet member in various capacities of government in Ondo State, Rt. Hon. Fatai Aburumaku Olotu, has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa on Wednesday’s judgement of the Supreme Court affirming him as the duly elected Governor of Ondo State.
The five-member panel of the Supreme Court, led by Justice John Okoro, unanimously affirmed the election of Governor Ayedatiwa after all appellants challenging his victory formally withdrew their appeals.
In a congratulatory message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Information, Rt. Hon. Olotu described the Supreme Court judgement as God’s judgement and a true reflection and affirmation of the will of the people of Ondo State. He further emphasized that the APC’s resounding victory across all eighteen (18) local government areas of the state was historic and a clear demonstration of the people’s overwhelming confidence in the party and its candidate.
He commended some of the notable achievements of the Ayedatiwa’s administration, including the ongoing dualization of the Akungba–Ikare Federal Road, the re-introduction of the free shuttle buses which have brought much-needed relief to parents and students, particularly in the riverine areas of Ondo South and the Urban renewal project within the state capital.
Rt. Hon. Olotu joined millions of supporters and stakeholders in congratulating Governor Ayedatiwa and his Deputy, Hon. Olayide Owolabi Adelami, on this well-deserved victory at the apex court.
He expressed confidence that Governor Ayedatiwa’s administration will usher in robust economic growth, stability, and inclusive development for the good people of Ondo State.
