The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested two suspected members of a notorious car theft syndicate operating within Ado-Ekiti and its environs.

They further disclosed that they were planning to stæl a vehicle from the Odo Ado area of Ado-Ekiti before their arrest,” the statement read.

Two Toyota Camry cars were recovered from the suspects. The Command has launched a manhunt for other fleeing members of the gang, their receivers, and possible recovery of more stolen vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Eribo, urged residents to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious persons or activities in their neighbourhoods.
