Fubara Told Us He Apologized To His Master; He Told His Supporters Not To Contest LGA Polls—Jackrich
Sobomabo Jackrich, a former party candidate for governor of Rivers State, has asserted that suspended governor Siminalayi Fubara recently spoke with him and a few of Fubara’s followers. Jackrich is a member of the National Republican Movement. According to reports, Fubara informed them that he and his former leader Nyesom Wike have reconciled, and Fubara asked his followers to accept the peace gesture that was initiated by Nyesom Wike.
A statement made by Jackrich in an interview with AIT indicated that Fubara had encouraged his allies to abstain from participating in the upcoming municipal elections in the state. According to him, Fubara believes that this is an essential step to take in order to forestall further fighting and to give peace a chance.
According to Jackrich, he informed us that he has expressed his regret to his boss, and he also informed us that we should all make sure to work together in tandem to avert any crises of this nature. On the basis of the most recent local government elections, the governor is making a concerted effort to make peace a reality. If the governor mandates everyone to participate in that election, then nothing but anarchy and disaster are in store for the people. On account of this, the governor instructed his own supporters to resign.
