Government Approves New Appointments in  Civil Service Commission

Governor Malam Umar Namadi has approved the appointment of Babandi Saleh as Permanent Member II and Ibrahim Adamu Fagam as Permanent Member III of the Jigawa State Civil Service Commission.

The approval was announced in a press statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State (SSG), Malam Bala Ibrahim.

The Governor also elevated Muhammad Bare from Permanent Member II to Permanent Member I of the Commission. According to the SSG, the appointments of Saleh and Fagam followed their screening and confirmation by the Jigawa State House of Assembly during its sitting No. 031 on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, equivalent to 24th Safar, 1447 AH.

He urged the appointees to carry out their responsibilities with diligence and in line with the rules guiding the Commission. The statement further clarified that all the appointments take immediate effect.
