Former DG Shaibu Sue Edo State Govt Over Unpaid Allowances

Former Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu is suing Godwin Obaseki and the state government over what he terms as “unpaid allowances”, allegedly withheld by former Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Shaibu’s demands include:

₦1.9 BILLION security votes
₦1.5 BILLION for 3 armored Toyota Land Cruisers
₦1.5 BILLION for 3 Toyota Hilux trucks
₦85 MILLION for wife’s hospital bills
₦100 MILLION for a new house
And billions in “travel allowances,” “statutory entitlements,” and more from 2016 to 2024!!

Is he entitled to all of these as a former deputy governor?
