THE MAN IDOWU AFUYE  – A Biographical Sketch

Comrade Idowu Afuye was born in Ode Ekiti to the Ojoko family. His educational journey began at St. Mary’s Primary School and Ode Ekiti High School, both in Ode Ekiti. He later attended the University of Ado Ekiti, where he obtained a Diploma in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.

He commenced his professional career in the Ekiti Civil Service, serving as a staff member of the House of Assembly Service Commission. In 2020, he retired from civil service with the ambition to fight for his people in Ekiti South to become the Governor of Ekiti State. During this period, he served as the convener of the Ekiti South Development Agenda, traveling globally to galvanize support for his cause.

However, his initial gubernatorial ambition faced frustration. He subsequently shifted his political focus, eventually emerging as the Deputy Governorship candidate for the ADP in 2022. He later joined the political campaign/alliance of BAO, driven by his conviction that his excellency Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebamji would bring positive transformation to Ekiti. Afuye reportedly has no regrets about this decision, believing that BAO is currently making Ekiti proud.

In addition to his political endeavors, Comrade Afuye is also a prominent businessman, serving as the CEO of Noblesad Farm Limited in Ode Ekiti and the CEO of ISA POL CONSULTANT, an Information Communication Firm.
