Our Mandate, Our Right – constituents Demands Stewardship from Ekiti North Senatorial District

The people of Ekiti North Senatorial District gave their mandate in trust, believing that their elected senator would be a strong voice at the National Assembly a voice to defend their interests, influence federal policies, and bring meaningful development home. This is not just a political position; it is a sacred responsibility.

In a true democracy, accountability is non-negotiable. Our senator was not elected to be distant in Abuja, but to act as the direct representative of Ekiti North covering both Oye and Ikole LGAs in the highest lawmaking body of the nation. This means sponsoring bills that matter, moving motions that address our realities, attracting federal projects, and ensuring the welfare of every community in the district.

Why Our Senator Must Give Account

1. Mandate from the People:
The seat belongs to the people. It is our right to know how the senator has used the privilege and resources of the office to benefit Ekiti North.

2. Evaluation of Campaign Promises:
During campaigns, pledges were made on infrastructure, education, empowerment, health, and youth development. The people deserve to know which of these have been fulfilled.

3. Promoting Trust in Leadership:
Openness builds confidence. By updating constituents on achievements, challenges, and future plans, the senator will strengthen the bond between the office and the people.

Regular engagement with the people allows for feedback and ensures that constituency projects match the real needs of our communities.
