5 EKSU Students Injured as Lexus Summersaults in Ado Crash
A lone accident occurred along Ado-Iworoko road allegedly involving five students of Ekiti State University, EKSU.
Witnesses said the accident was caused by overspeeding. They said the Lexus car hit a culvert along the route and summersaulted several times before it stopped.
The witnesses alleged that the brand-new Lexus car with registration number KRD 410 KL had a learner’s poster pasted on it.
They stated that during the summersault, three of the students were thrown out through the windows and a tyre came off the Lexus car.
The witnesses called for measures to curb reckless driving by students along the route.
Meanwhile, the five occupants who sustained various degrees of injuries have been rushed to EKSUTH.
