“100 days to the presidential election and it doesn’t seem like anything is happening maybe because tinubu and apc are byllyng their opponents,” he wrote.
His comment comes amid growing political activity ahead of the 2027 general election, with opposition parties and political figures positioning themselves for the contest against the ruling APC.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the presidential and National Assembly elections for January 16, 2027.
VeryDarkMan’s remarks suggest concerns about the ability of opposition candidates to campaign freely and compete effectively against the ruling party. However, he did not identify specific incidents in the post to support his allegation.
His comments have added to the wider debate about political competition, campaign activities and the fairness of the electoral environment ahead of the next presidential election.

In other news…. Arise News journalist Rufai Oseni has criticised Peter Obi over his recent claim that he won the 2023 presidential election despite admitting that he has no evidence to support it.Current events analysis
Obi made the statement during a BBC Africa interview after he was asked whether he still believed he won the 2023 election and had evidence to prove it.
“There’s no evidence. Everything is not based on evidence. I won the election and that’s where I will end,” Obi said.
Reacting on Arise News, Oseni urged the former Labour Party presidential candidate to stop making the claim without supporting evidence.
“Mr Peter Obi, it is best you do not say things if you do not have the evidence. I must have to repeat it, because when you say that I won the election, you don’t have the evidence to back it up. Then people do not take what you say seriously.”
Oseni also questioned whether Obi and his team had conducted their own detailed analysis of the election results.
“Didn’t you have back-end analysis of result by result before you make the claim? Where are all your own data spreadsheets on the back end that assert your claim? Where is your own back-end collation that asserts your claim?”
He added: “So it is very spurious to say I won something, but when they say where is the evidence, no evidence. I mean you might feel the urge that you won but if you don’t have the evidence to back it up then you didn’t win.”
