A new video released on Sunday, June 8, 2026, has shown the abducted Vice Principal of Community Grammar School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oyo State, Mrs. Alamu Folawe, making a desperate appeal to authorities from captivity.
In the emotional video, Mrs. Folawe called on the government to prioritize the safety of those being held captive, claiming that the kidnappers are not demanding money or the implementation of Sharia law but are instead seeking the release of some of their detained members.
According to her, the continued delay in addressing the kidnappers’ demands is putting the lives of innocent victims at greater risk.
“They are not asking for Sharia law or money. They are only asking for the release of some of their men. Government should stop playing politics with our lives,” she said in the video.
The disturbing footage has sparked widespread concern among residents, parents, and members of the education community, with many calling for urgent action to secure the release of the victims and improve security across affected communities.
