A Nigerian woman has reportedly been sent out of her husband’s home after allegedly using ₦80,000 meant for her children’s school fees to place bets — and losing everything.
According to a post shared by @Tope-Orus on X, the woman’s husband had given her the money to pay their children’s fees. Instead of making the payment, she allegedly staked the entire amount on betting. After losing the money, she kept quiet, hoping to fix the situation on her own.
The truth, however, came to light when the children were sent home from school over unpaid fees.
When her husband found out, he reportedly did not assault her but firmly asked her to leave the house. Despite her explanation that she had won bets in the past and that this was a mistake, he insisted she move out and warned of serious consequences if she remained at home.
As of the time the story was shared, the children were reportedly still at home and no longer attending school.
