Wike Declares Atiku Can Never Be President of Nigeria
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has declared that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar can never become the President of Nigeria.
Wike made the strong statement on Monday during the commissioning of a major project in Abuja.
Speaking at the event, the outspoken FCT Minister left no one in doubt about his position on Atiku’s presidential prospects, insisting that the PDP chieftain’s ambition remains unrealistic.
“Atiku can never be President of Nigeria,” Wike said emphatically.
The statement comes amid ongoing political realignments and discussions within the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of future elections. Wike, a key stakeholder in the party, has been vocal about internal issues and leadership direction.
Monday’s event, which attracted top government officials, traditional rulers, and political associates, was used by the former Rivers State Governor to address national political matters while commissioning the infrastructure project aimed at improving the lives of residents in the Federal Capital Territory.
