WAIT ON GOD, HE CAN NEVER LIE : Pastor Isaac Olutimehin

[15] “The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season”.
[16] “Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing”.

☆☆☆ From the two verses of the scripture above, it is very clear that God responds positively to everyone that waits on him.
☆☆☆ Before you begin to disagree with this statement, in view of the number of years you have been waiting and still waiting, please let us take a closer look at these two verses.

☆☆☆ We need to note that only “The eyes of all wait upon thee”, that can be attended to.
☆☆☆ When you read Hebrews 12:2, the bible says 👇

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” – Hebrews 12:2.

☆☆☆ The problem is that, many people are no longer looking unto Jesus anymore.
☆☆☆ Majority of others rely on the arm of flesh which often leads to diappointment.
☆☆☆ The second part of Psalm 145:15 says👇

“…and thou givest them their meat in due season”

☆☆☆ It is quite unfortunate that those who make efforts to look unto Jesus, look the other way before their “due season” arrives.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the due season is determined by God and God alone without seeking your opinion.
☆☆☆ Many get discouraged and withdrew shortly before their own “due season” comes.
☆☆☆ You cannot be looking unto Jesus and get sunk in the challenges of life. No way.

☆☆☆ Peter was “looking unto Jesus” And he could walk on water without his boat but immediately he looked away, he saw the wind boisterous and started sinking 👇

“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water”.
[29] “And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus”.
[30] “But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me” – Matthew 14:28-30.

☆☆☆ The moment a man looks away from the saviour, faith jumps out and fear steps in.
☆☆☆ Such individual will begin to sink except by divine intervention.
☆☆☆ That was the experience of Peter before Jesus intervened.

☆☆☆ Beloved, God is faithful and will never deny anyone of his or her blessings.
☆☆☆ The question is, will you wait for that “due season” to come?

“Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing” – Psalm 145:16.

☆☆☆ When Peter was sinking, he cried out to Jesus to deliver him.
☆☆☆ Jesus opened his hand and satisfied the desire of Peter.

☆☆☆ Beloved, when God makes a promise, he stands by it and ensures its fulfilment.

■■■ For the bible says 👇

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” – Isaiah 55:11.

☆☆☆ Many people today have placed God second position in their lives.
☆☆☆ They only return to God when the other hope they have fails.
☆☆☆ Our God is a jealous God who hates to be shared with any deity.

■■■ For the bible says 👇

“For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God” – Exodus 34:14.

☆☆☆ Check your life beloved, in relation with the above verse of the scripture, to see if there is “other god” in your life.
☆☆☆ Every “other god” in your life will surely make you look away from the true God.

■ ■ ■ Your job can be the “other god”.
■ ■ ■ Your husband or even your wife can be the “other god”.
■ ■ ■ Your children can be the “other god”.
■ ■ ■ Your car can be the “other God”.
■ ■ ■ Your wealth can be the “other god”.
■ ■ ■ Your pursuit and the affairs of this world can be the “other god”.

☆☆☆ Beloved, whatever shares a man with God represents the “other god”.
☆☆☆ When this “other god” succeeds in taking a man’s focus away from the Almighty God, he will surely miss his own “due season”.

1. Father, please Lord; don’t allow the challenges of life to stand between me and you in Jesus name.
2. Oh God my father, I put my hands in your hands Lord, lift me up and out of the challenges of life in Jesus name.
3. My father and my God, step into the storms of my life and let your peace reign in Jesus name.
4. Father, you that delivered Peter from his storm; please save me from the current storm ravaging my life.
5. Father, no man can help me except you Lord; please don’t allow me to become the reproach of men.
6. My father and my God, increase my faith Lord and grant me the patience to wait for my “due season” in Jesus name.
7. Father, don’t allow the manipulations and the wickedness of men to deprive me of my “meat” in “due season” in Jesus name.
8. Father, you are the helper of the helpless, don’t allow me to be put to shame Lord.
9. Father, in my current situation, have compassion upon me and let your mercy speak for me Lord.
10. I thank you father for answered prayers and the testimonies that shall abound in Jesus name.

☆☆☆ I pray for you today, by the mercy and compassion of the Lord Jesus, you will not miss your own due season.
☆☆☆ The Lord will give you your meat in due season.
☆☆☆ May you not be coerced to look away from the Lord at the point of your due season in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ May the Lord open his hands wide unto you and satisfy your needs in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I decree and declare, you will not be denied of your Godly desires in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ You are a living being, in the name of Jesus I decree, your miracles will not meet you in the grave.
☆☆☆ May you not become an agent of your own delay in Jesus mighty name.
☆☆☆ As your eyes are waiting upon the Lord, I prophesy, your miracles shall arrive in due season in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ You will not miss your appointment with destiny in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I decree, declare and prophesy, the All Sufficient God will open his hands wide to bless and prosper the works of your hands in Jesus mighty name.

God bless you.
