Uzodimma swears in 11 new permanent secretaries

As a way of promoting efficiency, effectiveness and good service delivery in civil service in Imo State, the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma just today swon- in 11 new permanent secretaries at the government house Executive chambers amidst jubilation and happiness in the face of Imolites who witnessed the swearing in program.

Speaking after their swearing in, the Governor charged the newly swon- in permanent Secretaries to see their appointment as a higher calling to serve Imo State better for the benefit of all.

“What we have witnessed today is a making of history, the swon-in permanent Secretaries was appointed based on merits not through long legs or who knows who” He said .

He further, seized the opportunity to remind them that , hence their appointment came as a result of merits, transparency, hardwork and commitment they are only indebted to God and Imo State government for their service to Ndi Imo .

Uzodimma also affirmed that his administration is in a hurry to deliver dividends of democracy to Imo people as he said to whom much is given, much is equally expected. While charging them to work in line with the 3R mantra of his administration of Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Recovery.

Concluding he told them , it can only be well with them if they aviod corruption which has eating deep in the civil service in Imo State.

Speaking on behalf of the newly swon-in permanent Secretaries, Mrs Ekenze Edith extolled the Governor of Imo State for their successful swearing in program. As she concluded by saying , if the Governor want them to work, they will work, if they Governor want to fly with him, they will also do so .
