Tunde Ednut reveals why Peter Obi is Tinubu’s biggest threat, predicts Atiku will lose
Popular entertainer and social media influencer Tunde Ednut has described Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as the “scariest” opponent for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
In an Instagram post analyzing potential matchups, Ednut asserted that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar would lose to Tinubu if he runs, noting that Atiku’s participation would only split Obi’s votes and strengthen Tinubu’s chances. He also dismissed former President Goodluck Jonathan’s chances entirely.
Ednut urged the political coalition led by David Mark to throw its weight behind Obi, stressing that building overwhelming public support could make it harder for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to announce manipulated results.
“When the love is too huge and the noise is too huge, by 6pm on election day, even INEC will be scared to announce rigged results, cause fire fit start for the full Nigeria,” he wrote.
He maintained that with a strong grassroots campaign, public pressure could force electoral transparency in 2027.
