Stop begging, start creating, A National Call to Dignity, Talent, and Wealth – Banji Alabi Esq

Fellow Nigerians,

Each morning when I open my phone, I witness a national tragedy.
Able-bodied men. Brilliant, educated women. Young graduates with fire in their eyes.
But instead of blueprints, I see begging scripts.
Instead of invoices, I see “urgent requests for money texts.
The same message, duplicated, forwarded to ten people. Then twenty. Then fifty.
Daily.

And today, I say: ENOUGH.

We must confront this epidemic of manufactured dependency. We Must Confront this National disaster: Because what we tolerate, we cannot change. And what we normalize, we will never outgrow.

1. THE LIE WE MUST REJECT
We have accepted a lie: That our hands are for receiving, not releasing. That our phones are for soliciting, not solving. That our destiny is to queue, not to lead.

But hear the Word of the Lord:
Proverbs 22:29 — “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
You were not born to stand before men with caps in hand. You were born to stand before kings with value in hand.

2 Thessalonians 3:10 — “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.”
Heaven endorses labor. God Himself worked for six days.

Begging is not a spiritual gift.

II – THE TRUTH WE MUST EMBRACE
1. There is Dignity in Labor.
Ecclesiastes 9:10 — “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave.”*
The grave has no jobs. You do. While you have breath, you have assignment. Your work is worship.

2. Your Talent is Your Escape Route.
James 1:5 — “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
Pray this morning: “Lord, reveal what You built me for.” Because God never makes anyone empty. Your talent is already in you — not in abroad, not in government, not in your uncle’s pocket.

3. Effortlessness is Evidence.
What do you do so well that people ask, “How did you do that?” What makes you lose track of time? What do strangers thank you for?
1 Peter 4:10 — “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
Your interests are not random. They are roadmaps. Your gift is not for decoration. It’s for distribution.

4 Problems are Profit in Disguise.
Proverbs 18:16 — “A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”
Stop asking “Who will help me?” Start declaring “Who can I help?” Money is a reward for solved problems. Find the headache. Sell the aspirin. Nigeria’s pain is your pay day if you’ll solve it.

5. Excellence is Your Loudest Advert.
*Daniel 6:3 — “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him.”
In a nation where trust is scarce, integrity is gold. Be professional. Be honest. Deliver results. Let your name become a contract. When excellence enters the room, begging leaves through the window.

III THE MARKET WE MUST SEE
Wake up! There are over 300 MILLION people in Nigeria.
Deuteronomy 8:18 — “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.”
Power to get wealth is not in Aso Rock. It’s in your head and your hands.

300 million mouths to feed. 300 million bodies to clothe. 300 million heads to style. 300 million farms to mechanize. 300 million homes to build. 300 million apps to code. 300 million customers waiting.

The market is not your problem. Your mindset is.
If 0.1% of Nigerians paid you ₦1,000 for a solution, that’s ₦300 million. Do the math. Your talent + their problem = your wealth.

IV – THE REVOLUTION WE MUST START
Therefore, this morning, I issue this national decree to every reader:

CONVERT YOUR STORY TO STRATEGY.

CONVERT YOUR PITY POSTS TO PRODUCTS.

CONVERT YOUR DATA TO DOLLARS.

CONVERT YOUR HANDS TO HARVEST.

Genesis 1:28 — “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.”
The first command to man was not “beg.” It was “subdue.” Take dominion. Create. Build. Multiply.

To the writer: Publish.
To the baker: Brand.
To the coder: Launch.
To the barber: Open.
To the farmer: Scale.
To the teacher: Monetize.
To the trader: Digitize.
To the graduate: – Your certificate is not a begging license. It’s a hunting permit. Go hunt solutions.

V. THE DESTINY WE MUST CHOOSE
You were not born to be a burden. You were born to be a blessing.
You were not wired to receive. You were wired to release.
You were not destined to beg. You were destined to BUILD.

Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”All things. Including business. Including wealth. Including greatness.

So from this morning, let your new language be:
Not “Please help me.”
But “How can I help YOU?”

Develop yourself. Develop your talents. Commercialize it. And start smiling to the bank.
Because the day you start creating is the day you stop explaining.

The day you start producing is the day you stop pleading.

The day you start solving problems is the day you start soaring.

FINAL WORD:
– Begging is inferior to your destiny.

Creating is equal to your destiny.__

Nigeria will not rise by handouts. Nigeria will rise by hands that build.

__So rise. Start. Create.

No retreat. No surrender._
