First Muslim Friday prayers held at converted ancient Church

TEXT:
Isaiah 28:20 KJV.
“For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it”.

MESSAGE:
☆☆☆ This is another scripture that we need the help of the Holy Spirit to really understand.
☆☆☆ We shall be looking at this verse from two perspectives:

☆☆☆ The First Perspective of “The bed shorter and the covering narrower”.

☆☆☆ “A bed” is supposed to be an object of rest where we can lay our body, particularly at night, after a long day of hard work.
☆☆☆ A bed is expected to give us comfort.
☆☆☆ “The Covering” on the other hand is like a blanket which is expected to shied us from cold and to protect the body from danger while sleeping.

☆☆☆ Now the bible says that “the bed” itself cannot play its role of giving comfort because it is too short, neither can “the covering” protect the entire body because it is too narrow.

☆☆☆ Let’s now look at the spiritual implications of a shorter bed and a narrower covering 👇
☆☆☆ There are those people you rely on out there to assist you but they have let you down.
☆☆☆ Those you are expecting to comfort you are the main sources of your discomfort.
☆☆☆ Those you rely upon to defend you have turned against you.
☆☆☆ Your best friends have become your worst enemies.
☆☆☆ You have been betrayed by those you have so much confidence in.
☆☆☆ The same fellow you see as your confidant, is the same one backbiting and back stabbing you.
☆☆☆ Relations, colleagues and even certain Christians are not left out of this group of people.
☆☆☆ These days, you don’t even know who to trust anymore. David said 👇

“For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him”.
[13] “But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance”.
[14] “We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company” – Psalm 55:12-14.

☆☆☆ The Second Perspective and the spiritual implications of “The bed too short and the covering narrower”:

☆☆☆This refers to our relationship with God.
☆☆☆ Anyone whose pride will not allow him to repent of known sins is actually sleeping on “the bed too short with a covering too narrow”.
☆☆☆ Anyone who wants an immoral lifestyle while trying to hang on a semblance of being a Christian, is actually sleeping on “the bed too short with a covering too narrow”.
☆☆☆ Anyone who refuses to serve God with the spirit of humility is sleeping on “the bed too short with a covering too narrow”.
☆☆☆ Anyone who places the standard of his religion above the standard of God, is sleeping on “the bed too short with a covering too narrow”.
☆☆☆ Anyone who doesn’t even have a relationship with God is really sleeping on “the bed too short with a covering too narrow”.
☆☆☆ Anyone who is not prepared for the second coming of Christ is actually sleeping on “the bed too short with a covering too narrow”.

PRAYERS
1. Oh God my father, remove every form of discomfort far away from my life.
2. Father, in anyway I have been sleeping on a shorter bed, please increase the size of my bed to serve it’s purpose in my life.
3. Oh God my creator, let every shortage in my life receive a divine boost for supernatural enlargement in Jesus name.
4. Father, from today, separate me from every unfriendly friend bringing discomfort into my life.
5. There is no hiding place for any betrayer in my life.
6. Oh God my father, please don’t allow the comfort of this world to separate me from you Lord.
7. Father, where I have been betrayed and let down by men, let your mercy restore me.
8. Father, give me the grace to adjust in every area of my life that I need to make amends.
9. Oh God my father, when you come for the saints, let your grace consider me qualified and worthy to reign with you.
10. Shorter bed, narrower covering, father, please be my bed and my covering.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
To somebody out there, I decree, you will experience comfort from God in every area of your life where you are currently experiencing discomfort.
Once again I decree and declare, every shortage in your life shall receive divine supply henceforth in Jesus name.
You will enjoy abundance of the El-Shaddai God from today in Jesus name.
I decree, God will convert your disappointment to divine appointment in Jesus name.
To somebody out there, I decree, may the affairs of this world not lead you to a state of spiritual discomfort in Jesus name.
May you not be separated from your maker in Jesus name.
I pray for another individual out there, receive the grace to make amends before it becomes too late in Jesus name.
“The bed too short with the covering too narrow, will never be your portion in Jesus mighty name.
