First Muslim Friday prayers held at converted ancient Church

TEXT:
Acts 9:4,7 KJV.
And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
[7] And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man”.

MESSAGE:
☆☆☆ There are so many lessons one can learn from the account of the encounter of Saul with God on his way to Damascus:
☆☆☆ The bible recorded that Saul and those who were traveling along with him heard a voice. However, only Saul eventually knew it was the Lord speaking to him.
☆☆☆ Only Saul alone got the message that the voice was sending. Those who were going with him heard the same voice but didn’t get the message being sent. That message was not meant for them.

☆☆☆ Beloved, the voice of God was audible enough for everyone going with Saul to hear but the message was not for everybody.
☆☆☆ Saul was the target of the message being sent and not the others.
☆☆☆ Beloved, do you know that God can give you a message from the voice others consider as a noise!!
☆☆☆ A multitude can listen to the same message in a church service for example, but God may have different interpretations for different people.
☆☆☆ Somebody can make a statement and God may send just a “word” from that same statement to you that will change the course of your life and destiny for good.

☆☆☆ We can all witness the same scene or watch the same drama yet receiving different messages.
☆☆☆ God may allow you to witness a scene because he has a specific message to pass across to you.
☆☆☆ Many of you may read a particular verse of the bible but God may decide to give different interpretations to each fellow according to his plans for them.

☆☆☆ Beloved, the way others run their lives is not your business because God deals with each individual in different ways.
☆☆☆ Therefore, don’t use the life of others as a yardstick of how God must relate with you.
☆☆☆ Joseph went to prison before becoming a prime minister in a strange land. Read Genesis 39:19-20; 41:14,41-44.
☆☆☆ Daniel entered into the den of lions and came out alive before he too became a prime minister in a strange land. Read Daniel 6:16-28.
☆☆☆ However, somebody (Haman) made a mistake that saw Mordecai as a prime minister in a strange land. Read Esther 6:4-10.

☆☆☆ Beloved, God has different means of passing across his messages to his people.
☆☆☆ God can use the burning bush as in the case of Moses in Exodus 3:1-10.
☆☆☆ He can open the mouth of an ass to speak like a man as he did to Balam in Numbers 22:27-30.
☆☆☆ God can use the wool and the dry ground to pass his message across as he did to Gideon in Judges 6:36-40.

PRAYERS
1. Oh God my father, please speak to me concerning the issues of my life.
2. My father and my God, give me the grace to obey your instructions in full.
3. Father, uproot every distraction on my way, standing between me and my breakthrough.
4. Father, don’t allow me to be just a hearer of you word but the doer as well.
5. Father, give me the discerning spirit to interpret correctly every sign you send across my way.
6. Oh God my father, grant me the understanding spirit to decode every coded message you are sending through the challenges of life that am battling with.
7. Help me Lord to take the right steps leading to my destiny fulfillment in Jesus name.
8. I refuse to die without fulfilling my purpose in life. Please help me Lord.
9. Please Lord, don’t allow me to copy the answers to other people’s challenges as the solution to my own problem.
10. Oh God my father, don’t allow the enemy to detail me from the pathway of success and breakthrough in Jesus name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
For you this day, I decree, you will not miss your own medium of getting a divine message from the Lord in Jesus name.
May you hear God and understand his message when he speaks to you in Jesus name.
I pray for somebody reading this prayer message at this time, in the midst of the multitude, may the Lord single you out for a specific assignment that will change the course of your life for good.
May you embark on that journey that will set your feet on the path of destiny fulfilment in Jesus mighty name.
Receive that divine empowerment and the discerning spirit to decode your own message in Jesus name.
On the day of your divine turn around for good, I decree, you will not engage the Holy Spirit in an unnecessary argument in Jesus mighty name.
To somebody out there, reading this prayer message, may you receive a word now that will turn your life around for good in Jesus name.
