The reps candidate of the NNPP for the Akoko North East and West federal constituency in the just concluded National Assembly elections , Hon Abiye has returned to the All Progressives Congress.
The announcement was made by the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state, Eng. Ade Adetimehin with some other decampees from other political party such as Hon Banji Okunomo from the southern senetorial districts of the state and many others.
In her reaction to newsmen, Hon Abiye discribes her return to APC as an home calling journey, this is where I truly belong, though some unfavorable decisions were made in the process of the party primaries that led to our departure, but we have come again to resolves issues as one family after the whole lots.
Election has come and gone, so we must put all effort to reconcile and return to the base not in our interest but in the Interest of our people and thousands of our supporters.
Our people prioty should be the first in every decision so having meet with all stakeholders and other leaders of the party, we think and aggregate to return to APC in the interest of our people, let it be known that the people Interest is the core reason why we are back here, abiye said.
Therefore, I want to appreciate all our people and supporters who really have genuine love and belive in us, everyone who supported us throughout our journey in the Pre and post electioneering period, I want to use this medium to appreciate you all, I must confess you are all wonderful people I cannot forget in my life.
