The Chairman of APC in Orlu Zone who doubles as the Apex leader of APC in Orlu LGA and as well as the General Overseer (GO) of CampHope Organization Worldwide, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Nwachukwu (Omeogo, Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu) was on 12th of February 2021 revalidated his APC membership card at his polling unit, Eke Abara Market Square, Okporo Orlu LGA.
Omeogo who was accompanied to the center by some leaders and members of the party urged all the existing party members to Revalidate their membership and new members to Register and belong to APC which according to him, is the ruling and most organized political party. He charged the registering officials at the unit not to discriminate or make it difficult for potential members to register. He advised them to welcome and treat everyone that comes to register equally as the party need more people to register.
To make it palatable for people to come in their numbers to register, Omeogo in his philanthropic manner commissioned some photographers to go round the 11 polling units in his Ohaeke Okporo ward to take passport photographs of intending members who are willing to register but do not have money for the passport photographs, which is one of the requirements for the revalidation/registration. He asked the photographers to take and produce the passports for them and bring him the bills to pay.
He said, in so doing, everyone who really want to register but do not have money for passport now has the opportunity to belong to the party as they have no excuse of not being able to pay for passport again and in turn, such guesture will make the party record high volume of membership.
Omeogo also advised good spirited individuals and leaders of the party to try to do the same in their various wards and local government Areas to support the people that could not afford to pay for the passport photographs so they can be able to register and belong to the political party of their dream, the APC.
