The immediate past Commissioner for environment Imo state Dr. Ikay Njoku has been inducted and admitted into the prestigious roll of FELLOWS of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria. By this induction, he is now a member of the prestigious Board of FELLOWS of his professional body.
With this he has earned himself the highest Professional recognition of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria.
Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria is an umbrella body that unite’s all medical laboratory scientists in Nigeria from different states of the Federation and beyond.
By this award, Dr Ikay Njoku will have this prefix in his name, FAMLSN(Fellow Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria
It was reliablely, gathered that before this award, Dr Ikay Njoku was on August last year, 2020, Medical Laboratory Scientists from the South East elected him to represent them on the prestigious seven member BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria where his performance there, today has earned him this great recognition.
On 30th of September, 2020, Guild of Private Medical Laboratory Directors , an affiliate of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria, again gave Dr. Ikay Njoku an Award of Honour for his Lifetime Achievement in Leadership and Outstanding Contribution in The development of medical laboratory Profession in Nigeria.
Njoku, is a professional Medical Laboratory Scientist by training, Member Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria, Associate Member Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria, Member GUILD of Private Medical Laboratory Directors and now Fellow Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria.
Many are of the opinion that by all these honours, it means that Dr Ikay Njoku has served his people and profession with loyalty, trust, honesty, faith and have equally shown integrity while they also prayed to God almighty to continue to guide, guard and protect him as he continue to render a selfless service to mankind. He has also shown these qualities in all his political life. A true political and professional loyalist indeed.
Speaking to some group of journalist, immediately after his award collection, Dr Ikay Njoku said, that his award is to the glory of God and the sign of God’s goodness and mercies upon his career and political Life.
