Lauretta Onochie Reacts To Video Of Empty Chairs At A Stadium Where APC Held Event In Edo
Former presidential aide and a leading member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Lauretta Onochie, has reacted strongly to a video showing many empty chairs at a stadium in Edo State where the All Progressives Congress (APC) recently held a political gathering.
The event was organized by the City Boys Movement as part of its South-South National Youth Tour and took place in Benin City, Edo State.
The programme was expected to attract a large crowd of APC supporters, especially young people from across the South-South region.
However, pictures and videos shared online appeared to show a poor turnout, with many seats left unoccupied.
Lauretta Onochie, who is known for her outspoken political views, took to her official X account on Friday, April 24, 2026, to react to the development.
She used the opportunity to criticize both the APC and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
