JUST IN : IDOWU AFUYE EMERGES ACTION DEMOCRATIC PARTY (A.D.P) DEPUTY GOVERNOSHIP CANDIDATE.
Frontline politician and human right activist and erstwhile Coordinator of the Ekiti south development agenda have emerged the running mate of the gubernatorial candidate of the A.D.P Engr Mrs Kemi Elebute Halles.
Afuye was picked among numerous names submitted to the party leadership by Erelu Kemi Elebute Halles.
Talking to newsmen after the announcement of Afuye by the governoship candidate, Afuye said he decided to accept the offer so as to learn more about governance, and also to contribute his quota to the developmnent of Ekiti state. He thanked the leadership of the party and Engr Mrs Kemi Elebute Halles for the offer given to him to serve the state.
He described the Action democratic party as a party with robust manifesto, equally describing Engr Mrs Kemi Elebute Halles as an experienced professional politician who has vision and quality mission to lead Ekiti state well if elected governor, he urged the people of Ekiti to vote for a new dawn, instead of the two major political parties that have ruled, and have failed them.
