Just In : Akeredolu’s Wife fumes over Conduct of APC Primary Election
Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, wife of the late governor of Ondo state, has condemned the Saturday’s governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, describing it as a sham.
Betty Akeredolu lamented that the nation’s democracy has been murdered with the outcome of the primary election in the state, saying the activities of some individuals were dangerous for growth of the democracy.
Expressing her views on the conduct of the exercise in a post in the WhatsApp platform of FOWOSO, Mrs Akeredolu said, “Idanre LGA be on the watch out!😳 You have a professional election rigger, inshort, a criminal, as your returning officer , Chuks Erhire. He is one of Hope Uzodinma’s hatchet men.
” My experience with him in Imo was disastrous. For such a character to be appointed each time as a returning officer, Nigeria democracy is a SHAM!
