Ilebaye’s father has now shared his own side of the ongoing family controversy. 

According to him, he fully supported Ilebaye during her Big Brother Naija journey, especially during the All Stars season when she was constantly up for eviction.

He said he and his friends spent money and effort supporting her throughout the show.

He revealed that after winning BBNaija All Stars, Ilebaye became distant and stopped communicating with him despite his repeated attempts to reach her. He claimed he tried several times to meet with her so they could appreciate those who supported her journey.

He also said he advised her to use part of her winnings to help the less privileged, but she allegedly ignored the advice.

Speaking further, he claimed the hotel Ilebaye has been flaunting online actually belongs to him, adding that he has been unhappy with the lifestyle she currently lives and fears she is heading down a self-destructive path.

He condemned her cosmetic procedures, including fillers and a BBL, saying she is too young for such surgeries.

The father also opened up about family issues, stating that he often tried to settle disputes between Ilebaye and her mother, but felt she never respected him as a father. He alleged that during arguments, she sometimes became aggressive and even hit him on two occasions despite how much he loved her as his favourite child.

Addressing the viral assault video, he admitted to hitting her but said it happened out of anger after repeated acts of disrespect.

He further claimed that despite his health struggles, including high blood pressure and medical treatment in Dubai, Ilebaye refused to assist him financially after he asked for help, only for him to later see videos of her spraying bundles of cash at Cross’ wedding online.

He also spoke about issues involving Ilebaye’s mother, claiming she frequently left the home for months at a time and only returned after intervention from pastors. According to him, Ilebaye initially supported his decision to divorce her mother but later turned against him over it.
