How Princess Henrietta Kyenshak Geoffrey escaped death in Kano athletes fatal road crash

She was travelling among the 22 Kano athletes who recently died in a bus accident. She travelled with them from Kano to Ogun and competed with them, the team winning winning 5 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze. After the games in Ogun, it was customary for her to travel back to Kano with them to get her pay. Infact, she was travelling with them in the bus back to Kano, when the coach Informed her that the pay would not be immediately available, so she decided to be dropped off in Kaduna to see someone, thus aborting the ill fated crash that would most likely have ended her life as her colleagues.
