Controversial self-acclaimed pastor and ex-presidential aide, Reno Omokri has taunted Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi over their alignment with former vice president Atiku Abubakar in the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Reno Omokri through his verified X handle, pointed out that both former Governor Rotimi Amaechi and Peter Obi have entered into a trap by joining the ADC coalition party. He said neither Obi nor Amaechi has the financial muscle to beat former vice president Atiku Abubakar during the ADC’s presidential primary election. He stated that as its stands, Atiku Abubakar is positioned to win the ADC’s presidential primary election over Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi.
According to him, Atiku Abubakar winning the ADC presidential primary election implies that both Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi have lost out and stand to betray the unwritten zoning arrangement of the country as they will be supporting a northern presidential candidate.
Speaking about Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi being picked as Atiku Abubakar’s running mate, Reno Omokri stated that Peter Obi who enjoys organic following across the country like former president Muhammadu Buhari will unlikely accept to be Atiku Abubakar’s running mate. He however pointed out that Rotimi Amaechi will gladly accept such an offer if it is given to him.
