Governor Fintiri breaks silence after his governorship candidate lost out to Nuhu Ribadu’s candidate

The governor of Adamawa state, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has spoken on the outcome of the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship primary election for Adamawa state which produced Nuhu Ribadu’s anointed candidate as the party’s governorship candidate for Adamawa state.

 

The winner of the contest, Alhaji Tijjani Ahmed Galadima polled 414,444 votes to defeat governor Fintiri’s candidate, Abdulrazaq Namdas who polled 86,004 votes.

Through his X handle, governor Fintiri congratulated Ahmed Galadima over his emergence as the APC’s governorship candidate for Adamawa state. The governor whose preferred candidate was defeated, revealed that notwithstanding the outcome of the contest, he is committed to the success of the party at the poll in 2027; emphasizing his resolve to contribute to president Tinubu’s reelection.
