TEXT:
1 Kings 20:6 KJV.
“Yet I will send my servants unto thee tomorrow about this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away”.

MESSAGE:
☆☆☆ Ben-hadad, the king of Syria, wanted to attack Samaria. He first sent warnings to Ahab, the king of Israel thus 👇

“Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine” – 1 Kings 20:3.

☆☆☆ Ahab timidly agreed and said 👇

“And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I am thine, and all that I have” – 1 Kings 20:4.

☆☆☆ Ben-hadad was not satisfied with that response and his last request will form the basis for our discussion and prayers today.
☆☆☆ Ben-hadad was bold enough to make a request to be allowed to search through all the houses of the king of Israel and those of his servants. Hear what Ben-hadad said👇

“Whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away”.

☆☆☆ It was at this point that the king of Israel said No way and he took the battle back to the king of Syria. We all know the rest of the story.

“And the king of Israel went out, and smote the horses and chariots, and slew the Syrians with a great slaughter” – 1 Kings 20:21.

☆☆☆ Beloved, if you give the devil a meter, don’t be surprised that he will take a kilometer, without your further permission.
☆☆☆ Until you say No to your tormentors, they will keep on tormenting you.
☆☆☆ This begins with a manager sitting on the rights and privileges of his staff in the office.
☆☆☆ The ward chairman embezzling the financial allocations meant for the people under his coverage.
☆☆☆ The pension manager mismanaging the pension dues of retired staff and allowing many of them to die of hunger.
☆☆☆ This list goes on and on, it’s endless.

☆☆☆ Beloved, these are not battles that you challenge through civil unrest and noise making.
☆☆☆ Remember that these oppressors have the means and the weapons to silence anyone who opposes them.
☆☆☆ However, there is a God in heaven whose weapons are superior to any weapons of war ever invented by man.
☆☆☆ Until you cry out to God in prayers, who the bible calls the man of war, you may remain in perpetual bondage for life.

“The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name” – Exodus 15:3.

☆☆☆ There was a time that king Herod persecuted the church.
☆☆☆ He got hold of James, the brother of John and killed him. Read Acts 12:1-2.
☆☆☆ When the church was quite, he took Peter also but this time round, the church cried out to God in prayers and Peter was delivered.

“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him”.
[7] “And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands” – Acts 12:5,7.

☆☆☆ That same God, who delivered the church of old from her persecutors, is still on his throne.
☆☆☆ If you can cry to him today, he will surely deliver you from your oppressors.
☆☆☆ If only we can cry to God, as a nation in one accord, irrespective of our religious differences; he will surely deliver us from our persecutors.

PRAYERS
1. Father, give me a discerning spirit to discover the antics of the devil and escape from his hold.
2. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to ignorantly dine with the devil in the guise of looking for solutions to my challenges.
3. Father, don’t allow me to unconsciously yield myself as an object of oppression to the devil.
4. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to mortgage my destiny for the devil’s piece meal in Jesus name.
5. You are the man of war Lord, please take over my battles and give me victory without a fight.
6. Every Ben-hadad, disguising as friends, fire of God, expose and consume them now in Jesus name.
7. Father, you created me as a citizen of this country (mention the name of your country), please Lord, arrest every Ben-hadad terrorizing the peace of our land.
8. Arise Lord and fight for our Nation.
9. In the name of Jesus, I unseat by death, every unrepentant oppressor sitting on my entitlements.
10. Devil, you have no place in my home, family, business, ministry, job, in the lives of my children, husband/wife in Jesus mighty name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
To somebody out there, I decree, this same God who delivered Peter will deliver you from your persecutors and tormentors in Jesus name.
The man of war himself will subdue all the household enemies terrorizing the peace of your life in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, every Goliath terrorizing the peace of Nations, all over the world, shall lose his head this year in Jesus name.
I equally decree and declare, every Nation of the world currently at war, shall the man of war himself deliver today in Jesus name.
All those who have hitherto deprived you of your entitlements and also trying to deny you of your rights and privileges, I decree, the Lord of hosts shall rise up against them all in Jesus name.
Ben-hadad of Syria had superior weapons but Israel still conquered. Victory is of the Lord. I therefore decree, victory is yours from today in Jesus mighty name.
Every Ben-hadad terrorizing the church of God shall be silenced from today in Jesus name.
Oh God arise and fight for your church in Jesus mighty name.
