Team Nigeria delivered a sprinting masterclass at the CAA Region II Senior Athletics Championship in Ghana, clinching gold in both the men’s and women’s 4x100m relay events.

In the men’s race, Nigeria’s quartet powered to victory in 39.74s, narrowly edging hosts Ghana (39.75s) in a photo-finish thriller, while Burkina Faso secured bronze with 40.95s.

The women’s team followed suit in dominant fashion, blazing to gold in 44.92s, ahead of Burkina Faso (46.56s) and Ghana (bronze).

The double triumph underlines Nigeria’s relay strength and adds to the nation’s growing medal haul at the championship.
