DON’T STOP THE FLOW – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT 2 Kings 4:6 KJV. “And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, there is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed”.Ā MESSAGE āāā Nobody, not even the devil, can stop your blessings but only you can. A minister of God once said: “you are the dot of your life, nobody can put a full stop where you have put a coma”. āāā God will not even stop the blessings except we sin against him, Jeremiah 17:10; Romans 2:6; Psalm 66:18. āāā Prophet Elisha had actually told the woman in 2 Kings 4:3, “borrow thee vessels…even empty vessels; borrow not a few”. The instruction was clear: “borrow not a few”. āāā The oil stayed because there were no more empty vessels to contain. The woman actually borrowed “a few”, probably due to her lack of faith. āāā The woman would have considered the little bottle of oil in her hands and wondered how could that fill so many empty vessels.Ā āāā She had forgotten that God is the source and not the small bottle of oil in her hands. āāā Beloved, in all you do, never you limit God. Not even in your attitudes, in your thinking, in your actions. āāā Always remember that the size of your faith determines the size of your miracles. āāā Once your actions and your confessions, through your spoken words; run contrary to the word of God, you are unconsciously stopping the flow of God’s blessings in your life. āāā Anytime you say with your mouth I can’t, you have disagreed with the word of God in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Immediately that happens, the flow of God’s blessings will stop. āāā Are you sick and afraid that you may die!! Some will even say with their mouth that the sickness will kill them. Such statement runs contrary to 1 Peter 2:24 which says: “by whose stripes ye were healed”. That individual will surely die because of unbelief. āāā Beloved, learn to agree with the words and promises of God in your confessions and God’s blessings will surely keep flowing in your life. āāā For God himself declaredš “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” – Numbers 14:28.Ā PRAYERSĀ 1. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to consciously or unconsciously stop the flow of your blessings in my life. 2. My mouth, oh my mouth, you will not become the hindrance to the flow of God’s blessings into my life. 3. Increase my faith oh God, to be positioned for the flow of divine blessings. 4. Devil, you have no part in my life and you cannot block my miracles. 5. Oh God my father, give me the grace to tap into your ceaseless flow of heavenly blessings in Jesus name. 6. Father, on the day of my divine appointment, don’t allow doubt to rob me of my blessings in Jesus name. 7. Father, grant me absolute faith and boldness, through your word, to take giant strides that will launch me into my breakthrough in Jesus name. 8. I refuse to be limited.
